Jay Thakkar presented the paper titled “Craft-Design Collaborative Pedagogy: A Model for Sustainability in Design Education” at the SiDE Symposium, jointly organised by IIT Delhi and TU Delft in New Delhi. The paper critically examined the integration of craft knowledge within design pedagogy, proposing a collaborative model that foregrounds sustainability, contextual relevance, and cultural continuity. The symposium provided an important academic forum to engage with interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable design education.
