Threads of Innovation /
Crafting my Thoughts' reimagines the various vernaculars of crafts in Gujarat. It translates them into my narrative of how I perceive them. The portfolio focuses on 4 main outputs of the studio, Game design, Mapping, narrative Board and storybook illustrations. Re-imagining the Play, is about designing a board game for Kids, contextualizing one of the crafts of Gujarat. Hence my project, Bandhan takes inspiration from the craft of Bandhani. The inspiration flourished from the field visit to the various craft clusters in Kutch. The glimpse of which can be seen in my other project Akarigar, an experiential story map.
Reimagining the play is about designing a board game for children. The board game Bandhan educates the kids about bandhani through culture and festivities.
