Craft + Future = PLUG & PLAY

Craft has been limited to as an appropriated two dimensional imagery in interior projects which raises the question, why can’t craft be more three dimensionally involved in the design projects and in turn be a receptor system for these crafted inserts? The proposition is envisioned like a Rubik’s cube system of rent-able pods which employs the system of The Plug & Play System of Plugins. Each element from the catalog provides the user multiple versions of them .This will enlist craftsmen into collaborations on the creation and the curation of the P&P kit and provide stable employment. It in turn, makes the user more involved in the creation of the language of the space and the constant need to keep updating the catalog to keep up with the thrift.
