Bharti, a girl from the village of Soi Nagar can't embroider despite it being the tradition to learn it for every woman in her community. Bharti celebrates the craft in her own special way, through the world of cinema. This storybox is a result of my perspective development of the idea of celebrating crafts through various exercises and visits across the semester. Be it a blend of poetry and visuals of connecting threads in posters from Ajrakhpur, Surendranagar and Rajen Chaudhary workshop visit, understanding my peer, narrative craft storyboard, or Santalpur visits with women of SEWA.
